Born in North Carolina in the Summer of 1993, William E. Bridges IIIs life has revolved around music, art, and education. When he turned 5, he began to play piano and soon after began to sing. He continued his music education and training with the Suzuki Music Academy in Davie, Florida, studying classical piano and violin for a short time. Will also spent 7 years under the direction of the Florida Singing Sons Choir based in Oakland Park, Fl. During his time with the Florida Singing Sons Choir, Will had the opportunity to not only travel to the Czech Republic, Italy and other national landmarks to perform for various dignitaries and public officials but also performed in professional operas and even an episode of hit show, Dexter.During his time at North Broward Prepatory School, he was invited to participate in the prestigious and nationally regarded Grammy Jazz Band. He was brought to Los Angeles, and performed all along the southwest coast. During this event, he recorded in Capitol Records, had an impromptu performace with Grammy winning jazz vocalist, Bobby McFerrin and even had the wonderful opportunity to actually perform on stage with Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding just moments after she had won the Grammy for Best New Artist. He is currently studying Jazz studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. While at NEC, William Bridges has performed with critically acclaimed artists including Jason Moran, Fred Hersch, Dave Holland, Joe Morris, Dave Liebman, Anthony Coleman and many more artists.
